California's AB 1043 was signed into law and takes effect January 1, 2027. It requires operating systems to provide real time age bracket APIs. Colorado's SB 26-051 follows the same model. Brazil's Lei 15.211 is already enacted. Illinois SB3977 is in progress. These laws are why the upstream projects above are building age verification infrastructure.
